In a serious improvement to the continued ‘Padmavati’ disaster, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has banned the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick within the state of Madhya Pradesh.

The Rajput Group had reportedly submitted a memorandum earlier than CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan in search of a ban on ‘Padmavati’. The CM has reportedly stated that he will not be permitting the discharge of Bhansali’s magnum opus in his state.

This comes after the makers of ‘Padmavati’ voluntarily deferred the discharge date of the movie. The movie was earlier dated to launch on December 1.

In the meantime, Censor Board chief Prasoon Joshi had additionally slammed the makers for permitting the movie to be screened for numerous media channels earlier than acquiring a certificates from the board. The CBFC had despatched the movie again to the producer as the appliance for the certification was incomplete.
