9 killed in auto-bus collision in Andhra Pradesh

9 individuals had been killed and 4 others injured when an autorickshaw and a bus collided at Somayajulapalle in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh early on Sunday, police mentioned.
The autorickshaw was approaching the flawed aspect when the Andhra Pradesh State Street Transport Company bus hit it on the Kurnool-Nandyal essential street, police and the company mentioned.
There have been round 13 passengers within the seven-seater autorickshaw, which was going to Mahanandi.
Seven of them had been killed on the spot whereas two others succumbed to accidents in a hospital in Kurnool.
The 4 injured, together with the auto driver, had been admitted to the federal government hospital in Kurnool, a senior police official mentioned.
“The accident occurred solely as a result of the auto plied on the flawed route. We’re enquiring with the RTC bus driver on how precisely it occurred,” the official mentioned.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Transport Minister Okay Atchannaidu, RTC Chairman Varla Ramaiah and Managing Director N V Surendra Babu expressed grief over the accident.
