The Andhra Pradesh Meeting has unanimously handed a invoice that gives 5 per cent reservation in schooling and employment to the Kapu neighborhood, who account for an electorally important 27 per cent of the state’s inhabitants.
However since complete reservations now exceed 50 per cent, the invoice might be despatched to the Centre, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu mentioned Saturday.
The Andhra Pradesh authorities is asking the Centre to incorporate the reservation in Schedule 9, so it turns into authentic.
The passage of the invoice comes days after after Mudragada Padmanabham, the patriarch of the Kapu neighborhood, gave Naidu a deadline – December 6 – for a choice on the quota, in line with a report in a number one newspaper.
