It added that it has spent Rs 93 lakh of the setting cess in 2016, however there was “no point out of any expenditure” in 2017.
The cess on diesel was introduced by the Sheila Dikshit authorities in December 2007 as a part of its efforts to regulate air air pollution because of vehicular emissions.
