The ladies, aged between 10 to 14 years and natives of West Champaran, had been accompanied by two males who had been detained and are being interrogated. GRP and RPF personnel rescued the ladies after a passenger despatched a tweet to official twitter handles of Union railway ministry and common supervisor of North Jap Railways group of women travelling with two males in S5 coach had been wanting ‘uncomfortable’.

“GRP and RPF rescued the ladies and detained two males, one 55-year-old and the opposite 22-year-old, travelling with them,” stated SP (railway) Pushpanjali Devi. The SP stated that earlier two RPF constables in plain garments boarded the S5 coach from Kaptanganj railway station and escorted the ladies to Gorakhpur.
Nonetheless, on Friday, the mother and father of rescued ladies reached Gorakhpur and informed police that they had been travelling to Agra with their permission. Police are verifying the claims of the mother and father.
