MHA says PM security guidelines not new, need to be reiterated from time to time | India News
In a press release, the ministry stated it had lately reiterated the rules or commonplace working procedures concerning safety preparations of VVIPs throughout highway exhibits to all states and Union territories.
“Pointers for safety of VVIPs are required to be reiterated infrequently. These pointers/SOPs should not new; they’re reiteration of present pointers and don’t include any particular reference to ministers or different dignitaries.
“No new restrictions have been added via these pointers/SOPs and solely the laid down protocols have been reiterated,” the assertion learn.
On June 11, House Minister Rajnath Singh had reviewed the prime minister’s safety and directed that each one vital measures be taken in session with different companies to suitably strengthen safety preparations for the prime minister.
In response to experiences, there was an “all-time excessive” risk to the prime minister and he’s the “most useful goal” within the run-up to the 2019 common elections.
